Through its Town Manager, the Town of Stowe reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in part or whole, to waive any irregularities or informalities therein or to negotiate with any qualified source if doing so is in the best interest of Town. Memorial Park Master Plan
The Town of Stowe is accepting proposals for a professional consultant to develop a Memorial Park Master Plan. The Memorial Park Master Plan Request for Proposal may be obtained on the Town of Stowe’s website at www.townofstowevt.org or by calling (802)253-7350. Proposals are due by noon on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 in the Town Manager’s Office, 67 Main Street, PO Box 730, Stowe VT 05672. The Town of Stowe invites bids for the Town’s crushed gravel and sand supplies for 2009-2010. A total of 10,000 cy of crushed gravel and 5,000 cy of crushed sand meeting the requirements of the specifications are required to be prepared and stockpiled at the Town Gravel Pit on Beech Hill Road prior to September 18, 2009.

CHEMICAL SUPPLY
The Town of Stowe invites bids for the Town’s water and sewer departments' chemical supply for 2009-2010. Chemicals required include 27,000 gallons of poly-aluminum-chloride (Holland Company Epic 58 or equivalent), 8,400 gallons of magnesium hydroxide (Aries Company 100 or equivalent), 2,500 gallons of polymer catonic polyacrylamide in water and oil emulsion (Slack Chemical Sta-Floc # 8639 or equivalent), 16,950 gallons of sodium hydroxide (25% caustic soda), 720 gallons of sulfuric acid (93% solution), 3,900 gallons of ferric sulfate (40% solution) and 5,200 gallons of sodium hypochlorite.
