FY 09 Fuel Services; FY 09 Chemicals
Invitation to Bid Fuel Services Town of Stowe The Selectboard of the Town of Stowe invites sealed bids to furnish fuel services to the Town for the 2009 Fiscal Year beginning on July 1, 2008 and ending on June 30, 2009. A total of 31,000 gallons of #2 heating oil, 20,000 gallons of propane and 50,000 gallons of diesel fuel are estimated to be required for FY09. Delivery is to a total of nineteen (19) locations throughout the Town as detailed in the specifications. Bids will be received by the Town of Stowe at the office of the Town Manager, 67 Main Street, PO Box 730, Stowe, VT until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2008 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Each BID must be submitted on the form provided in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Town of Stowe. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside as a BID for “FY09 Fuel Services.” The Envelope shall bear on the outside the name of the BIDDER and their address. Through its Town Manager, the Town of Stowe reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in part or whole, to waive any irregularities or informalities therein or to negotiate with any qualified source if doing so is in the best interest of Town. The Town also reserves the right to take factors into consideration other than price in awarding the bid.
INVITATION TO BID FOR Fire Tanker Truck Body The Town of Stowe, Vermont, is accepting sealed bids for a “Fire Tanker Truck Body.” Bids shall be delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked, “Fire Tanker Truck Body.” Bids must be received at the Town Manager’s Office, 67 Main Street, P.O. INVITATION TO BID TOWN OF STOWE SEWER AND WATER DEPARTMENT’S CHEMICAL SUPPLY The Selectboard of the Town of Stowe invites bids for the Town’s water and sewer department’s chemical supply for 2008-2009. Chemicals required include 15,000 gallons of poly-aluminum-chloride (Holland Company Epic 58 or equivalent), 11,000 gallons of magnesium hydroxide (Aries Company 100 or equivalent), 2,500 gallons of polymer catonic polyacrylamide in water and oil emulsion (Slack Chemical Sta-Floc # 8639 or equivalent), 13,650 gallons of sodium hydroxide (25% caustic soda), 1,000 gallons of sulfuric acid (93% solution), 6,000 gallons of ferric sulfate (40% solution) and 7,600 gallons of sodium hypochlorite. Bids will be received by the Town of Stowe at the office of the Town Manager, 67 Main Street, Stowe, VT until 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2008, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Each BID must be submitted on the form provided in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Town of Stowe at Stowe, Vermont, PO Box 730, 05672. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside as a BID for “FY’09 Chemicals”. Through its Town Manager, the Town of Stowe reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in part or whole, to waive any irregularities or informalities therein or to negotiate with any qualified source if doing so is in the best interest of Town. The Town also reserves the right to take factors into consideration other than price in awarding the bid. Any BID may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of BIDS or authorized postponement thereof. Any BID received after the time and date specified shall not be considered.
