* Community Garden planned again in Stowe...

2009 Information

The gardening season will soon be here and the Stowe Parks and Recreation Department are planning for another successful community gardening effort.
Located at the polo fields on West Hill Road, the Community Garden is expected to in similar size to previous years.
The Town of Stowe will coordinate the initial tilling and fertilizing of the soil and will provide water for the garden throughout the growing season.
Approximately 30 individual plots, each 20 by 20 feet, will be available on a first-come basis at $25 each.  Payment is required at registration.
Individual garden plots will be staked with colored flagging and include the participant's name.  The garden plots should be ready for planting by Memorial Day weekend.
