NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
RECONSTRUCTION OF BRIDGE STREET BRIDGE
TOWN OF STOWE
The Selectboard of the Town of Stowe hereby gives notice that a public informational meeting will be held on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 6:00 PM at the Akeley Memorial Building Banquet Room at 67 Main Street. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the impact of closing Bridge Street (Route 108) for the reconstruction of the existing bridge (B-2) over the Little River.
Specifically, the reconstruction of the bridge deck will require that Mountain Road and Bridge Street will be closed temporarily over the Little River. The Vermont Agency of Transportation is developing plans for the bridge renovation and representatives will be present at the hearing. The concerns of property owners and interested parties will be welcomed. Construction tentatively scheduled for 2013.
