The Stowe Planning Commission held a regular meeting on Monday, June 7, 2010 in the Banquet Room of the AkeleyMemorialBuilding, starting at 6:00 p.m.

Others Present: Rich Baker, Zoning Administrator and Tom Jackman, Director of Planning.
Minutes
The minutes of the May 17 meeting were approved on a motion by Ms. Shiner, seconded by Mr. Levine.
Rules of Operation
The Commission conducted its annual review of the Planning Commission Rules of Operation, which were last amended in 2006. Mr. Jackman presented a number of suggested amendments that were administrative in nature. Mr. Percy motioned to approve the amendments as presented. Ms. Shiner seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
Permit Summary
Mr. Baker presented a summary of single-family and all residential permits issued since 2006 with the average square footage of the permitted single family homes.
Subdivision Regulations
The Commission continued its review of the Subdivision Regulations, beginning with Preliminary Plan Hearing on page 3 of the 5/3/10 draft and made the following decisions:
·Approved the suggested deletion of Preliminary Plan Hearing
·Deleted Section 2.2(3) Phasing
·Deleted the second sentence of Section 2.2(4) Validity of Preliminary Layout Approval
·Approved the suggested changes to Section 2.3 Final Subdivision Application
·Approved the addition of Section 2.4 Minimal Alteration Subdivision Application
·Approved suggested changes to Section 2.5 Subdivision Plat Filing Requirements
·Approved the addition of the definition of Minimal Alteration, with a few changes.
The review will continue at the June 21 meeting with Section 4 Submission Requirements on page 7.
