The Jackson Arena is staffed by 5 full time and 3-5 seasonal employees who take great pride in maintaining and managing all town owned parks and grounds.  The Department is responsible for providing safe and enjoyable facilities at 16 locations throughout town including Jackson Arena.

During the spring summer season, staff are on site maintaining, improving and reparing over 240 acres of athletic and event fields, miscellaneous grounds as well as all town owned cemeteries.  The Department is also responsible for the mowing and maintenance of Stowe's award winning Stowe Recreation Path and its 4 park areas. 

The Parks and Recreation Department operates the Jackson Arena for 20-22 weeks a year which is open daily for public skating, club hockey, tournaments, use by both girls and boys high school teams, North American Hockey Academy and Stowe Youth Hockey.
