Finance Manager Kim Grogan, Accounting Clerk The Finance Department prepares, mails and accepts Property Tax Payments. The Department is also responsible for Human Resources for Stowe's full time, part time and temporary staff needs. The Department processes accounts payable and is responsible for gathering of budget information and working in conjunction with the Town Administrator in the preparation of the fiscal and capital budget for the Town of Stowe.
Recently, the Department responded to requests to provide payment options for paying property taxes. The following information offers two programs. Free Automatic Tax Payment Program
Enjoy the safety and convenience of enrolling in a free automatic tax payment program. Tax installments on August 10, November 10, February 10 and May 10 will be automatically withdrawn from your U.S. bank account. Please read and complete the Authorization Form and return it (with your voided check if applicable) to the Treasurer, Town of Stowe, PO Box 730, Stowe, VT 05672. Credit Card Payment Program
You now have the option of paying your property tax payments online by using your credit card through Official Payments Corp. They accept American Express, Mastercard, Visa and Discover. Official Payments Corp. does charge a fee for this service. Click on http://www.officialpayments.com for further information.
