STOWE VT - A ribbon cutting will be held at noon on Monday, November 24, 2014 to celebrate the completion of the renovations to Ferro Properties at 91 Main Street (formerly known as the Stafford Building). The public is welcome to attend.
The festivities will be hosted by Bryan Ferro, property owner and owner of Ferro Estate & Custom Jewelers, Stowe Selectboard Chair Lisa Hagerty, Peggy Smith of Coldwell Banker Carlson Real Estate and Heidi Scheuermann, State Representative and President of Stowe Vibrancy.
Ferro Properties at 91 Main Street now houses Ferro Estate & Custom Jewelers, Coldwell Banker Carlson Real Estate, PLATE Restaurant, Academy Mortgage Corporation and four two-bedroom condominiums. Individuals interested in viewing the condominiums may contact Peggy Smith at Coldwell Banker Carlson Real Estate by calling (802) 253-7358. A tour of the property will be provided after the ribbon cutting.
Bringing businesses and residents to the village center is key to its vibrancy.
"I have always been committed to Stowe: from opening Ferro Jewelers back in 2006, renting the space in the former Stafford Pharmacy to purchasing the building, renovating it, and finally bringing in Plate and Coldwell Banker Carlson Real Estate. My wife and I are proud to be part of this strong community and helping to revitalize this historic building on Main Street. We greatly appreciate and thank all of those who have been supportive of us through this process and look forward to being an integral part of the town." - Bryan Ferro, Owner of Ferro Properties & Ferro Estate & Custom Jewelers
“I am pleased to celebrate this incredible investment by the Ferro’s in the heart of Stowe village. As one who grew up just two blocks from here, the return to life of this premier Main Street building reflects the ongoing vitality of not just the village of Stowe, but the entire Stowe community. With the mix of retail, offices, a restaurant and housing, this has again become a vital part of our downtown.” - Heidi Scheuermann
